LEARNING ACROSS BORDERS – LAB VIETNAM

LAB wants you and a partner to choose a research topic that you would like to learn more about and we want you to become experts on your topic. Collect your own data, talk to specialists and read books to discover the best information available on your topic. Once you have completed your research, we want you to present your results in the most creative way possible to a panel of judges – the best presentations will get to present at the global LAB.

Your Task

Learning Across Borders (LAB) is an educational, non-profit organisation that focuses and promotes four thematic principles: environmental science, project-based learning, student leadership and cross-cultural navigation. LAB aims to help students become more internationalized and more accomplished at moving between cultures – a part of this is acknowledging and discussing environmental issues. LAB engages students with the world around them and opens their mind to other ways of living, the problems we face on our planet and what the future holds for the human race.

Learning Across Borders 2018

When you think of nature you may think of a beautiful forest or a vast ocean, maybe even a polar bear or an elephant – but would you think of humans? Humans are in intergral part of nature. We live along side nature and interact with it on a day-to-day basis. We have changed nature for thousands of years and we will continue to do so, however we must face up to the environmental challenges that we have generated and create sustainable solutions. Everybody needs to work together to combat these issues and that starts with acknowledging them and spreading knowledge.
